Festivals! Big Demo Update!
As we approach the Q3 release window, I have big plans to promote Flaregate Network!
Steam Deckbuilders Fest
What: This festival primarily features discounts on fully released games. It has a demo section tucked away somewhere though, so that’s where Flaregate Network will be!
When: May 4 to May 11
Steam Next Fest
What: This is the big one, a festival dedicated to demos for upcoming games! In order to get all of the project’s existing followers re-engaging during this time, I will be pushing out a major content update for the demo. See below for details.
When: June 15 to June 22
Big Demo Update
What: I am totally changing my approach for showcasing the roguelike standard campaign. Instead of showing a fairly complete version of Act 1, I will switch to showing a partial version of all three Acts.
This means:
Removing missions from the Act 1 pool. You will always encounter the exact same set of missions, although sometimes in a slightly different order.
Act 2 and 3 will become available! Similar to Act 1, the mission pool will be limited so that you always get the same exact missions. I’ve picked the mission pool carefully to minimize spoiling exciting story campaign moments., BUT there will still be new enemy ships and structures, including a new flagship! A limited selection of ship upgrades will become available too!
