New Demo Content

  • Starfuse Reactor and Multiburst Laser cards added to the card pool.

  • Shipbreaker Turrets added to the tech pool.

Balance Pass

I have been gathering data about which missions, cards, and tech are balance outliers.

Currently the win rate for rank 1 in the demo is hovering around 6%. This is lower than I’ll be targeting post-release, but I’m okay with it for the demo, as it adds to the replayability.

That said, there are two missions that are dealing more damage than act bosses, and three missions that rarely deal any damage at all. The changes below address these.

Missions made easier:

  • In ranks 1 to 3 Covetous Neurode now has 1 lower starting income, and 1 fewer unit cards in deck.

  • In ranks 1 to 3 Imperial Assault no longer has Call the Cavalry, so it can’t send a mega wave anymore.

Missions made harder:

  • Added two Lancer Squadrons to Base Raiders so that the enemy waves try to outlast you a bit longer.

  • Added an extra wave of 16 to Bomb Haulers.

  • Cytorin Demolishers start with 1 additional Titanium income.
