This patch actually went out yesterday, but since two patches in one day is kind of insane I’ll write the patch notes here.

Balance and design Changes

  • Moved what used to be a higher rank modifier down to rank 3: “Normal missions in Act 1 have more varied rewards.” I think this is a critical modifier for making runs feel different from one another. Various other modifiers were shuffled around to accommodate this change.

  • Blue Neurocore was the lowest danger mission according to my data, so I added 3 cards to its deck that send Plasmites.

  • Tormean Shipyards was the second lowest danger mission, so I made it a little more likely to start playing its extra structures earlier.

  • I made some changes to better differentiate the Pirate King and Rebel Leader boss fights:

    • Removed 1 Kai’s Knights and 1 Wardwing Vanguard from Rebel Leader, in favor of 1 Siege Turret and 1 Sentinel Turret.

    • Removed 1 Lancer Bay and 1 Machinery Transfer from Pirate King, in favor of 1 Lone Anarch and 1 Ship Transfer.

Bug Fixes and Improvements

  • Fixed a major bug with Imperial Assault at rank 4+ where the UI would become unresponsive.

  • Fixed card hitboxes so it’s easier to sweep from card to card when your hand is very full.

  • Fixed a bug where hovering over the bottom of a card during missions wouldn’t cause that card’s tooltip to pop up.

  • Cruisers and Dreadnoughts now say 8×2 damage in the unit info panel instead of just 8, to represent their two small turrets.

  • The default game speed is now Fast instead of Normal. This change will only affect new players, because the game remembers settings as persistent player preferences.
